What DuelFive Is
DuelFive is a head-to-head football game where you pick five real footballers, face another manager, and win if your five score more real goals than theirs during a live matchday. That is the whole idea. It is quick to understand, it rewards people who genuinely follow football, and a single duel resolves in the space of an afternoon rather than a nine-month season.
Most Web3 games get this backwards. They lead with tokens, charts, and yield, then bolt on a game afterwards to justify the economy. Players arrive for the returns, the returns fade, and the players leave, because there was never anything worth staying for. DuelFive is built the other way round. The game comes first, and the economy exists to support it.
The second thing DuelFive does differently is refuse to force blockchain on anyone. A football fan can sign in with a normal social account and start playing immediately, with no wallet, no gas token, and no seed phrase to write down. If that same person later decides they want to own their cards outright and stake real value on their duels, they flip a switch in settings and the on-chain layer turns on around them. Nothing about the game changes; only the level of ownership does.
